All around the world, people celebrate Carnival. Brazil’s is one of the biggest and this year, lasts from March 5 through 9. But many other countries and cities hold Carnival including France, Serbia, India, Macedonia, Aruba, Ghana and New Orleans. Everywhere, this colorful extravaganza inspires outrageous costumes, music, dancing….and parades.
Join us for our first paper Carnival, Saturday, March 5 at 2:00 p.m. Two teams will compete, decorating Queen of Carnival costumes with paper flowers, jewels, recycled materials and more. Each member of the court creates his or her own mask. Then, we will set out through the children’s department , dancing with joy.
