On July 30th the Children’s Department was transformed into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as students and staff came together to defend their school from Death Eaters and he-who-must-not be-named. Avoiding the rule-making and quill-wielding Dolores Umbridge (Rebecca O’Connell), and Headmaster Snape (Janina Kvedaras), Professors McGonigal (Julie Kant) and Sprout (Patte Kelley) schooled the students in defensive magic. Hermione Granger (intern Kelly Dickinson) and Luna Lovegood (intern Maggie Craig) led Dumbledores Army in Potter Trivia and a hunt for horcruxes and Deathly Hallows. Potter Watch radio (Hear Me’s Emma Connolly) recorded students stories and Divination was provided by a mysterious new Hogwart’s faculty member (Debbie El). Dumbledore’s Army prefects (Kathy Maron Wood and David Frank) saw to it that that protective spells kept the dementors away.
