Share language, food, and culture at International Family Day

This October, something special is happening in the Children’s Department! Something to do with food, crafts, stories, and the world. It’s the first International Family Day!

International Family Day is about meeting, listening, and learning about your neighbors. The main event is an afternoon of stories in many different languages– Chinese, Russian, Korean, Japanese, Spanish, and more! Come and sample a new language, learn a little about the cullture behind it, and snack on delicious treats from around the world donated by local restaurants. The grand finale will be a fun dance bonanza where you can learn traditional dances from different countries.

Mark your calendars! The event will be from 2-4pm on Sunday, October 13.
