What is Family Fun Night?!?!?!

Family Fun Night is a mix of hearing stories read or told, playing games such as Plug N Plays, learning folk dances from around the world, and much more.  I (Kathy) do these nights and try to make it fun for everyone.  Sometimes there is a particular theme, as there will be on February 10 at our next one; other times I’m ready for most anything and just wait to see the ages of the children who attend.

As I mentioned, in February we will have a particular theme and that will be listening to stories that are written by or about African Americans in celebration of Black History Month.  This will be a sharing of picture books, poetry, and other genres.  We’ll look at illustrations by these folks as well.

Think about attending our next Family Fun Night on Tuesday, February 10 at 7:00 PM and help us celebrate Black History Month!
