Exquisite Corpse at the Library of Congress

Exquisite corpse?  Eew!

It’s okay. This exquisite corpse has nothing to do with, um, corpses .

Exquisite corpse is the name for a kind of storytelling: Someone starts a story, and people take turns adding to it, bit by bit.

The episodic cumulative story game underway at the Library of Congress’s www.read.gov site begins with a mysterious and exciting entry by Jon Scieszka.  The story contiunes with some of our favorite authors, including Katherine Paterson, M.T. Anderson, and more.
