Show; Don’t Tell Workshop Explores Fanfic

We relied on this excellent article  in School Library Journal  to spark discussion and provide information.

Where can we read fan fiction?  Find it online or on the library shelves.

And we started our own fanfic, beginning with ideas from here:

Thank you so much, Rebecca, for this year’s wonderful Show; Don’t Tell workshops. It’s fantastic to have a monthly forum where the kids can come together to share their creations, to learn skills that make them more skilled and comfortable as writers, and. . .to do so in an easy and fun environment and in the company of their peers!

The Pgh. homeschooling community benefits immeasurably from the many programs you, Patte, Tina, and the rest of the department offer us.

Congratulations on another year of wonderful workshops.

    Our sincere thanks,
    Nancy, John, & Joseph

    Thank you, Nancy!

Working with the young writers in the Show; Don’t Tell group has been such a pleasure! What good writers and great people. 🙂

This sounds like loads of fun, Rebecca! I’ll bet the kids really had fun with it.
