Make a wave in a bottle! Grow gem-like sugar crystals! Create invisible ink!

Learn about chemistry at Science in the Summer, a free, four-day-long science program, sponsored by GlaxoSmithKline and the Carnegie Science Center, and taking place at the library

Science in the Summer takes place July 11 through July 14.

Morning session 11:00-12:00 for children entering grades 2 through 4.

Afternoon session 1:00-2:00 for children entering grades 4 through 6.

(Fourth graders, you can choose a.m. or p.m. session.)

Students receive a lab book, lab coat, and safety goggles.

Space is limited, and registration is required.

Since each day’s science experiments build on what was covered the day before, we request a commitment to attend the full four-day course.

Please stop by the Children’s Department to register.
